THE STA.MONICA PARISH CHURCH

Sta.Monica Parish church is the oldest church in province of capiz the church was made of terra cotta tiles, and white marble,black slate as accent and for the sanctuary.
The Church they have three altars in Baraque style. The retablo of the center of the altar it is painted of silver and gold enamel and this church is unique because of the texture and the color of the church.

The bell was the biggest bell in all of the church in capiz it is the most beautiful wonderful bell in the world and it is the creative bell in panay church it is use if they are emergency or they have an important occasion.

The Biggest bell in asia which weighs 183 arrobas (10.4 tons or 23,000 lbs) took place and they have a Spanish language writen on the bell and it is translated on english it says that "I am God's voice which i shall echo and praise from one end to the other of the town of panay,so that the faithful followers of church may come to this house of God to recieve the heavenly graces" and its has an wonderful and creative altar so that more of the visitor visit this church and the Bell.
